Letting

We have been letting and managing properties in Seaford since 1987. As members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors we are committed to their ethical approach and follow RICS regulations for holding clients’ money, which includes consumer protection.

We offer a full range of services which includes advice about the amount of rent to charge and how to prepare a property for letting. We arrange safety checks and certificates for gas and electricity; advertise the property and interview prospective tenants; follow up references; prepare the Tenancy Agreement; hold tenants’ deposits; collect monthly rents for the Landlord.

We always check tenants into properties and produce a Schedule of Condition. We will carry out occasional inspections of let properties if required and also co-ordinate repair and maintenance work, obtaining estimates when necessary, supervising works and settling accounts from rents received. At the end of any tenancy we make a final inspection of the property before returning the tenant’s deposit.

We deal with a wide range of property types from detached family homes, flats, studios and even ‘granny annexes’. We take great care to match tenants with the properties we are responsible for and always confer with the Landlord before taking a holding deposit. We like to feel we maintain a good relationship with our tenants and landlords which means that any problems that may arise during a tenancy are resolved quickly and easily.
